What do I tell them they are putting on?

I bought the black ice-olator and I dont think I have the guts to put it on myself. If I call to get quotes on the price of installation what do I tell the shop they are putting on?? They wont understand black ice-olator lol

*I know this is potentially a dumb question : )

Tell them it's an intake manifold spacer. That's really the best way to describe it.

It's really an easy job to DIY. Didn't it come with instructions?

If you DO end up taking it to a shop, if they quote you more than an hour or two of labor to install you're paying too much.

I know everyone already said this but please, don't waste your money on paying a shop. I promise you its super easy. And i cant explain the feeling of how good it feels to install a mod yourself. Plus, to be honest, some(most) non pro/performance shops don't tend to take jobs like this serious and may rush it and or incorrectly install it. We are all here to help you out man. PLus the DIY links above are spot on.

If you are not comfortable doing it yourself. Try to find some local members for a "mod day". Doesn't take long, and you get to meet and hang out with fellow Camaro enthusiasts.
