Finally, first time I saw and sat in a new camaro - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

First let me preface this by saying I didn't take pics I am totally inept when it comes to computers.

I was cruising around and have been keeping my eyes peeled for any camaro's when I am by a Chevy dealership. It was in North Olmstead OH. A red 2 ss 6spd, WOW. I have only seen the coupe and vert concept until now.

Man it was causing a seen like 5 cars were stopped to check it out. Cars driving by were slowing down and at one point almost caused a car crash. So a bunch of us were looking at it when a truck drove by and someone said that the doors were unlocked, the dealership was closed. Of course my curiousity got the better of me and sure enough I was sitting in it. Plus why are we judging a cars interior bad if it has hard plastic who gives a s#!t. Myself and another guy thought we should lock the doors and he was searching on the door panel and thanks to this sight remembered it was around the radio. Locked and boom unlocked itself, he tried manually locking boom unlocked itself. Must be protection from locking your keys in the car or something. We couldn't lock it. Also opening a closing the door it was pretty cool watching the window indexing thing working.

I thought my 00 SS had a small backseat until I saw that one, I kinda feel bad for any adult to be back there. Too bad for GM when I pointed out the dealerships $3,000 "market adjustment" people were a little turned off. I told the people about this website to look for dealerships not trying to take 3k out of their pockets.

Ever since sitting in it, its all I can think about and don't know if I can wait for a vert. Also I probably have seen about every pic taken of the camaro but after seeing it in person, it was amazing. I have been like 50/50 whether to get a Camaro or used C6 until this experience.

I just want to say to GM thanks for bringing this car out before we are stuck driving a bunch of slow good gas mileage pieces of crap.
