Splitter Issue
I noticed today that the small rubber flap on the splitter have a tear (Drivers side). I usally keep this car in a storage shed because my drive way is steep and the splitter will drag backing out. I looked at the pic for a new splitter and don't see them. Can these be replaced or are they part of the splitter? And what's their function?

These are an available part. They are used on the Z/28 and ZL1 (same part number).Part number is 22757643 and they are called deflector panel. The site I looked at had them listed under "Body/Fender and Components". The part number will get you two, one for each side. They are held on by two Torx head screws.
I believe they are there to direct some of the air under the splitter away from/around the tire. They may also have some effect on airflow for brake cooling. If you look at the bottom of the wheel well liner just inside this deflector you'll see an area that is sloped up towards the inside of the tire. A GM Engineer told me this was for additional brake cooling.
