mounting an amp under rear seat
I recently installed some subs and an amp and im kind if worried about where I.put my amp. I put it under the rear seat and it sits right on top of it, is there any issue with this. The amp shouldnt get hot enough.to catch anything on fire.

Your amp might not last very long without any ventilation. If it does catch on fire it be an issue since that right next to the gas tank. I mounted mine in the trunk.

Even if it doesn't catch anything on fire... the build up of heat will be very very bad for your amp. That's about the worst place you could mount it to be honest.

I hope you checked clearance and didn't use long screws. You could have drilled straight into the top of your gas tank.
