Some would disagree, but ive experienced more grip with G2s than the oem runflats. Fact is, this car has more tq than most, if any, tires will grip...at then end of the day there will be nay sayers no mater what you chose

I'd like to have a nice compromise between tread wear and traction at the drag strip. I have to do a good burnout at the track so I don't blow the tires off.

The longevity has been good. In the few thousand miles ive had them they show little if no wear. I have a heavy foot but dont do burnouts regularly.

I just picked up a set of these, too. The reviews seemed good and the price was great. I haven't put them on yet. Going to do some work on the rims beforehand.

I would personally go with pilot super sports all around or the new PS4's when they come out. I had them on my previous car and definitely felt that they gripped fairly well and had very good wear characteristics. Plus they have the 30,000 mile warranty, but I think for staggered set ups the warranty is cut in half. They are also a very light tire. Only drawback is the price. Full set is like $1100 shipped from tire rack.

Yes, I got a good deal too, 1/2 the price of the pilot super sports....and they are a top 5 tire on tirerack

You know, those Continental ExtremeContact DW are like $115/tire on tirerack. Maybe just get those to hold you over for a while.
