1994 Oil Pressure and Brake Light Help!
I have a 1994 Camaro Z28 and the oil pressure goes very low when stopped like when at a street light. And also i replaced the brakes recently and the brake light won't go out. Can anyone give me a clue on what to do. its been about 2,500 miles since the last oil change, it also sat for the winter. Does it need another oil change?
I'm no professional mechanic but i have a garage available at anytime with mechanics willing to help, but i wanted to know if i could fix either of the two easily.

Sending unit, X2. Replace both, quick, easy and cheap.

Lt1s always read low oil pressure at idle. Somewhere near 20 psi right? If so then you are fine. Mine reads about 35-40 while normal driving.

LT1's generally have lower oil pressure and the gauges aren't the most accurate things in the world. Keep the oil changed regularly and you shouldn't have any worries. IF the motor has some clearanced bearings causing the low oil pressure, there isn't anything you can do about it anyway short of a full rebuild. Just keep an eye on it and keep the oil fresh.
