I'm gonna guess 65K to 70k...I don't see GM pulling wires and shaving glass and removing weight just to save the buyer some money...lol.

Hey Quick....yes, I did see alot of stickers on lots and questioned the price of what they gave for the money. I am sure you probably overpaid for the price you stated, but, are happy none the less! But for the facepalm, please note it was a speculated price we discussed here for almost 18 months before you even posted, and I caveated it with a maybe if we are lucky conclusion.

Some of you have your expectations absurdly low I think. Got to get real folks. This car seems to have the best of everything. I highly doubt GM will sell tons of these. A lot of our members asked for exactly this, and GM has delivered. In my eyes, a low production car is often paid for by the consumer.

Actually, the base price of a stripped 1969 Z28 was just under $3,500, depending on when during year the vehicle was built. The base price of a V8 Camaro was $2,726.00, and the Z28 option was $483.95 (again, depending when the vehicle was built), and the Z28 option also required two additional options, a 4-speed transmission at $195.40 and front disc brakes at $64.25. Most 1969 Z28's had MSRP's of over $4,000, as few were sold as stripped models.
