Come on guy's the camaro's been out for 4 months now, surely somebody has changed the stock 6 spd. shifter knob for a black or white Hurst 6spd knob without actually changing the complete shifter?

i don't have the car yet, but plan on getting the Hurst with a new knob. so i'll be interested to hear the difficulties. But i'll be having the dealer put in the Hurst, so will have them knock out the shift knob at the same time.

the Hurst short throw shifter is like every other aftermarket item for 2010 Camaro,on hold!!! due to redesign,GMPP say's it might be Sept before it's finally released just like the air box and Dale Earnhardt grille so don't hold your breath on the Hurst shifter!!!

If you want the knob only to come off you have to pull up on it really hard.
It's a press fit.

Oldfart.... "subzero05" "posted that He will have pricing for this unit next week I believe. Also, I am working on organizing a GB for this through a performance shop/dealer right now to get the first production runs out to the members here."
And this is the new part # is going to be 3916030 So it will be out faster than you think.
