You know the funny thing is if someone told me that 800+rwhp can be achieved from a stock engine ten years ago, I would have laughed at them. Now it can be done within a couple days turn around time, go figure..

Nice work guys!

I`m not really sure what some are doing to break these LS engines but, it looks like the engineers built some real durability into them. WOW, is all I can say. You will let us know if it breaks, I hope? Awesome work, again. Good luck with the crazy HP up there.

I have always been a fan of Doing a Lot with a little, coming from a Low income family I have learned to massage parts and get the most out of them.

I built my first Full 1/4 mile drag car at 18 years old, with Lots of Used Parts and deals from Swap meets, and ended up Owning the State Hot spots for Street racing for 4 consecutive years before I went in to business in 86 and quit street racing.

GM Gave us a Great foundation to work with, and with Careful Proper Tuning the Power Potential seems Endless.

If you do the Math the engine is making 500 HP more than Rated Crank HP.

We are Trying to find the Limits of these engines but have not been successful at finding it YET.

When we do we will let everyone Know.

If Something breaks there is always a reason, and Detonation is usually the Culprit.

Ted.

I hope y'all all read the September issue of hot rod. They took what they thought was a junkyard 5.3 bu it was actually a 4.8. They put a cam in it, had a little work done to the heads, put a fast intake on I and strapped 2 76mm turbos on it and made 1200 hp at 27 psi. They had over 60 dyno runs with over 1000 hp and the engine was still fine. The only thing that gave out was stock ignition bc it was a junkyard ignition lol. The main point they stressed was to regap the top rings from .19 to .28-.30. They say that with stock ring gap the ring ends butt up against each other causing the ring to stick to the walls of the cylinder and that's how ringlands break. So they say adding more gap cures that problem.
