"My dealer received allocation and I ordered on April 2nd.. I just got the email from them that GM has pulled my order and I have a TPW of 6/1-6/7. I cannot wait!!!!!! When do you guys think I can expect to have this baby delivered to the dealership for pickup? Definitely before the end of June right?"

ABsolutely I have a complaint my dealer treated me when i wanted to go to another dealer cuz they were rumored to be going out of business. I could have lost 1,000.

called customer service... asked them where my car was... why it hasn't been shipped..... I have more information on this site than they have.
She put me on hold & called my dealer, told them they was NOT to give me a delivery date & wanted to know where they got delivery date info. ( invoice.. duh ) ... then told me what I just told her I knew!!.... car still in Canada, not shipped, can't tell me why !!! or won't!!!

HAHA...I actually got hung up on twice by GM yesterday...They refused to give me any info, then said "I can't Help You!"...click, and they hung up. TWICE!!!

If I had not been stuck in traffic on the highway I would have been smart enough to get their name!!! I would have gotten them reamed for it!!!

Im from KS, Ordered my black on black 2ss/rs auto, sunroof, polished wheels, from Hamilton lagreca in Hutchnson KS on 2-7-09 Then on 5-4-09 they return my money to me in the mail, so I call them and ask them why and they tell me they are not getting any camaro's. I said bull ---- you guys had 4 allications and I was the 4th one. They continued to tell me that all the camaro's in the state of KS have been cancelled by GM. I called GM and they tell me that my order is still there. Buyers beware of HAMILTON LAGRECA they can not be trusted!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 1-800 number has been trying to help me get my order back, but looks like im going to have to reorder, 3 months waiting down the drain.

I could go out tonight and place an order for an SS. I would love to do this. Nothing would thrill this oldish "hot rod" heart-and-soul gal more. I have always been so jealous in the past that I could not buy a new muscle car, a real American V8 machine, just because I was born in the wrong generation. By the time I had a job and real money, the real cars were gone. They evaporated, each and every one, in the summer of 1972. What a travesty and a grave injustice. Slowly, over the years, the idea of the muscle car trickled into some of the domestic designs, but they were never right. They looked funky, or just way too low on power. Or there were serious reliability issues. And now, almost 37 years later, maybe one of the big 3 finally is getting it right. It's a dream come true to even be able to think about buying a new Challenger, a new Mustang, or a new Camaro all at the same time. I never dreamed this day would come. I really thought we were doomed to front-wheel drive mini vans and sedans so ugly you had to turn you head away.

When was the last time an American car, that every man and woman could afford, inspired you? Or was a thing of beauty? Or belted out an unfathomable 426 horsepower?

Those of you who cry and whine because you are not getting yours first, YOU DO NOT DESERVE THIS CAR! And I for one am so sorry for you and embarrassed that you are here.

For the rest: let's keep waiting, watching, and trying to see....is this the one? Does this car represent a watershed event? Will this car deliver the one thing fbodfather says they are doing everything to ensure is right......will this car have the most important thing of all that will bring the import buyers back, and keep them......Quality.

I have been waiting too damn long and am too smart to jump on a band wagon that's only a pipe dream. I don't want to spend my money on something I will regret. I bought a new Camaro in 1988, and it did not work out well. I regretted my purchase at that time deeply. Since that time, my family has been huge GM supporters throught the years, but we only bought products as disposable appliances, not something we craved as enthusiasts or because we were inspired

I will continue to wait and watch. How fast I am theoretically able to achieve delivery is not relevant. (I am most appalled at the behavior of the pre-orderers who have a problem with waiting. Pre-order is just another way of saying "wait." Get over it.) I wait for another reason. I want to switch back, and I want a reason, and I want to have a car, an American Muscle car, that I desire, and can have. And I would love nothing more than to see GM pull enthusiasts back like me who have strayed over the years, but come back for all the right reasons.

I keep hearing about this 1-800 number. Can you really call them and get the order status of your car?

If so, I think I will do that. I have not really been keeping up with the status, other than I know I ordered it back in January.
