pure awesomeness!

Maybe it is part of the 600 clutch dumps that I read about in one of the mags.

As a GT500 owner - color me impressed. Right out of the gate, the ZL1 can heat the tires up (via a burnout or otherwise) and not suffer horribly from excessive wheel hop. The early GT500's ('07-'09) suffered so badly from it that you'd have thought the chassis pickup points were going to be torn from the car. The '10 and later GT500's, while not as bad, suffer from the same fate.

So to see how well behaved the ZL1 axle (or IRS in this case) can be is impressive to say the least. Nice to see that the GM engineers were allowed to minimize the deflection in the system so that windup doesn't occur - at least to the eye, anyway. On the other hand, the Ford vehicle dynamics group failed miserably at mitigating this issue. It'll be interesting to see how the '13 fares in this regard.

I'm sure that Goodyear will be glad to furnish 3 or 4 sets of tires at no charge, being G.M. is dressing the ZL1 with them,Goodyear has plenty $

I agree with power braking. It is just not right. I can go over a 1/4 of a block with my manual SS, fish-tailing all the way and never been out of first. Have to get out of it when I'm looking down the road from the drivers window! Power braking sucks.
