The mid range torque difference is pretty obvious betwen the two different types of turbos espesially since the drivetrain loss is more through the auto. How much power does the smaller GT3076R support before its out of its effective range?

In terms of flow, the smaller GT3076R turbos with the Billet-wheel upgrade are technically rated identically to the non-billet GT3582's. To that end, the GT30's should still be good for well beyond 900rwhp with a built motor.

Hopefully we will get a 6-speed car in soon that choose this option so we will have some in-house dyno comparisons between the two turbos to confirm

If the smaller turbos support 900RWHP then those look like the hot ticket for street strip because you cant deny that mid range torque or faster spool up. The larger ones obviousy make alot more power but definitly cost you on the low and mid range. If you had a 6M the gap in low and mid range would be even wider but not as wide on peak. When its time for my FI I might defenitly look into this.

For 99% of owners that don't want the potential for silly power they (GT3076R) are the best option

If my plan was to build the motor and run 15+psi I personally would go bigger but that is why we have a few different options -- one of them is going to be perfect

I would like to also know the pricing options, I have LT ARH's and Borla ATAK axle back right now, would I have to forfeit both for the turbos?

Thank you.

I asked by PM because I wanted to know if there were any changes to the setup vs the LS3 car, and what other add ons were used in the kit...ie injectors, MSD BAP and so on....

Very afforadable IMO for what you get.
