If not then thats what you should be pursuing and sueing the dealer towards getting another ZL1. If this only dealer stands behind the heartbeat of america then they should make good, word of mouth travels.
...good point, gap insurance, that's always a safe and cheap bet to make when purchasing a car.

ALSO, NO paperwork was signed when the vehicle was originally taken in for the paint issues. That was actually the 2nd time the vehicle was in--the first time they buffed it out and actually removed more paint than they fixed.

The dealership does not have one single piece of paper signed by me other than the original bill of sale/sales contract (dated June 25, 2012).

I guess they don't have to worry about that paint problem now...

Every time I take one of my cars in for any kind of service/repairs, they always have a form for me to sign acknowledging what I wanted done and what their estimated cost is.

...I agree. And being from a time and place where this shit did not happen
and to have it be common place anymore it really blows my mind. It's unaccepatable, and is detrimental to the business environment. But why is it tolerated? Why is mediocrity or slip shot workmanship accepted? Why are standards in the workplace so low nowadays? WTF? I see it all the time here. We can't fire people anymore? Accountability is a dead ethic and not something worthy to be desired?

Hire a good lawyer. Go to the newspaper and local TV stations. Call GM. All common sense ideas. And don't be a wimp about telling EVERYONE THE NAME OF THE DEALER.

Your insurance company should be handling all of this for you. They have lawyers and will go after the dealership. They are the ones losing the most $$$ here.

What have they told you???
