The car she got was cleaned but everyone knows it's not worth $35k.. No way in hell. I don't understand how this guy got away with it. Maybe she's holding info from me? Idk but she's my friend so I didn't know how she could fix it now that they just gave cash for it.

Neither is the "boy friend".

35k.. Here is your money... Ok... Sure just send me the title when you get around to it. No one is that dumb.. Especially not two people at one time.

...you cant fix stupid. No matter how the dust settles. She was dumb and learned a lesson...and its going to cost her for sure. There is no good outcome. Even if she gets her money back likely will lose in legal stuff. Always reasearch your cars (or any big purchase for that matter) beforehand.

I haven't seen any but I think what they have is just something saying the guy is going to mail the title to them.

This all sounds like a big hoax... you either need to dump her as a friend, because her lack of intelligence and ignorance will eventually rub off on you... or let her drown in her mistake and hopefully it becomes a lesson learned on the next purchase. I blame the guy here... no self-respecting guy doesn't know his muscle cars and the sound of a V8 motor.

Apparently shinebright TX is a bit dull if you know what I mean...

Edit apologies.. I mis read shine bright TX as being a location and not the ops name. I waj trying to joke that shine bright TX needed a bit of polishing up... Assuming the friend was from there.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too, just so stupid I don't even understand. Neither of them know much about cars. Her boyfriend did think it was a v8. So it just shows he doesn't know a lot.

Ask him for your money back.
Worth a try.

Wow! The more you post about this, the dumber your friend and her boyfriend get.
Maybe you should distance yourself from them. It may bring your own IQ down.

I guess there are so many scammers these days because there is so much easy prey out there these days.
