I was worried about the plasti dip coming off, or having the problem of having to re-do them often, so I went ahead and just bought the custom flat black ones off the RPI website! hopefully will get them in this week

Ok, so I used so adhesion promoter and some flat black "grill paint" (used for painting a BBQ grill exterior i guess) It gave it a cool looking powder coated finish.

Couldn't resist any longer. Took it apart and painted last night and let them dry over night and here's the results (before and after):

Here are mine, I did the R&R and had my painter paint them, Been on for over a year now. Hold up really well, was one of the first ones to do this, really like the look
