I have eibach springs 1" lowered and 20x10 rear TSW Nurburgring wheels 35mm offset and if I put Mickey Thompson tyres they rub!! But with Nitto NT05 315/35 they don't rub. I'm confused

You fit a 315 on a 20x10? I didn't know that was really possible. Idk how much diff that is compared to a 20x11 with a +43 offset but I haven't heard of them rubbing as long as the fronts are at a +35 offset. |

When you look at the specs of nt05 315s and MT 305s you'll see that the MT is bigger. So I'm not sure whether it's the offset or what. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But on that note, I'm still pretty amazed a 305 can actually run larger then a 315. |

That's what surprised me. Should have done my homework before buying them. I'm now running on Nitto NT555R. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nittos seem to run narrow, I have invo 315s on 10 inch rims and clears fine with 35 offset. Both Pirellis and michelins run wider also. Invos are about done and wear out fast when doing auto x on rough surfaces where I have to run, only about 7000 miles vs 19000 for the Pirellis with about the same amount of laps done and other aggressive driving. I plan on getting two more 20x10s with 35 offset for the front and running 285/35/20s all around. Can rotate them and also get the squezzed 315s off for better handling

As for as Continental Extreme Contact tires are concerned, I will have to give them a mixed review. Prior to these I had a square set-up with 20X9s with 275/40R20s P-Zeros on all corners. Steering was much more crisp with this set-up but I didn't like how the tires turned to hard plastic when it got below 40 degrees. The Continentals solved the cold problem but I don't like the handling as much. Guess that is why folks have summer and winter sets. All-in-all, the Continentals are a good all around tire. |

Not planning on lowering since I want my 1LE suspension to keep it performance. +23 all the way around on 10" rims. Running 275/40's for now but will get 285/35 next time I get new tires.

The difference between +23 and +35 is roughly a half inch. If you look at Factory Reproductions Facebook page pictures that half inch is more apparent than you might think (visually). I know a few people that have had issues with big front tires rubbing on the inside rather than the outside and having to run spacers to get them away from the struts. Much of it is just personal preference. I'll stick with factory offsets even after I upgrade the fronts from 275/40R20 Continentals to 285/35R20 PSSs. Good luck with your decision.
