If you've never driven a manual before, you may not like it. Besides, you can always use the Tapshift feature on the auto.

Take it for a test drive and see if you like it. But if you truly like white more, you might regret it, you might not. IOM is awesome, just too popular lol
M6 is great btw

Keep the white car! You can't smoke cigarettes, drink coffee, talk on the phone and shift gears all at the same time. And your wife/girlfriend won't be able to apply makeup and shift at the same time when she's driving! Are you sure you live in Canada? Doesn't look like there is enough snow on the ground.

Yeah I do, and it hasnt snowed in about a month so far, and usual temp. is approx. -5 degrees C, so the weather has been pretty good! I just hope it stays that way and not snow loads! |

Anyone know how to turn this thread into a poll? I have this weekend to decide, since Tuesday will be the day, either yes trade or no keep haha Last edited by Xp0gam3r; 02-13-2010 at 06:57 PM. |

My .02 is that it's not worth shelling out the extra $$ at this point of you're not even sure you want the M6......and some advice - there is no reason why the dealer shouldn't let you test drive...I mean it is a returned car, so it's not brand spankin new anymore.
If you're not confident with your manual skills...they can take you to an empty parking lot. |

go for the iom one, the manual is better in my opinion, worth shelling out if it is necessary.

I don't get the sore legs while driving in city traffic, and on that topic, my friend came over and he wanted to learn to drive manual. YES I let him drive my camaro. What really helped him learn the friction point of the clutch, was try to and take off from a stop without giving it gas. The shifting between gears that doesn't matter how fast you let off the clutch once you change gears, its the starting stopping. Then once you learn that you can learn how to use the clutch to keep your car in place on a hill, and then the whole down shifting thing. Another benefit of stick... Chances are someone can't drive it So you probably won't get people asking to drive your car because they can't. |

Thanks for the replies everyone!
Another question: If i do go with the trade, do you guys suggest to swap out the tires on mine and other? Just incase previous owner burnt the sh*t out of them is a worry. I took care of mine so that I could break it in properly, what if the other person did not? Is that nother worry? Thanks |
