I have the Hurst aftermarket shifter and I'm thinking about going with an MGW. I've heard nothing but good reports about the MGW and anyone in the Atlanta area can have it installed there by MGW. My Hurst had a lot of slop so I installed the aftermarket brass bushing which really helped but now the buzzing is rediculous! I've had enough slop and buzzing so it's time to make a change!

Just checked their web site and they do make a V6 unit.

Had the after market Hurst Comp +. Liked the 'old school look/feel' and didn't mind the rattle. Replaced with the MGW looking for a better timeslip-there really is NO comparison IMHO. MGW all the way

I would recommend the MGW. I have the Hurst with upgraded bushings and it is much better than stock but MGW is probably the best. At least from all of the reviews I have seen.

Haven't missed a gear yet with my MGW. They shift knobs they make are great too so your hand doesn't go flying off when shifting hard. Great feeling and no noise while driving.

Augusta. I like to drive so that trip would be an easy day there and back and well worth it.

I don't know how it compares to the MGW, but the ZL1/1LE shifter is PN 24260334 and it's only $108.46 at gmpartsdirect.com. I've heard that it's better than both Hurst shifters.
