Backed into a tree!

No, there are no pics of the damage, but its bad enough to get a new bumper. in my defense, it was pitch dark out and i have 5% tint in the back. Completely did not see a tree...if thats even possible.
Well, my friends with cars always say "dude you scratched it! great excuse to buy a modded one." so I was wondering if there is an upgraded/modded bumper out there or something I could get instead of the plain old one. Let me know!

thanks

Those trees jump out sometimes and always end up in your blind spot.

The mod I would suggest for you would be rear bumper sensors or a back up cam

You're lucky it's the bumper alone. I got my bumper, quarter and decklid all damaged. Those sensors suck as they didn't pick up the mailbox and I knew it was there but like an idiot went anyway. I now am looking into a backup cam lol.

Perhaps a reverse lockout. If you can't reverse, you can't hit a tree. Imagine the pain that poor tree is feeling?

That's an argument against tint if I ever heard one.
