L99 conversion to LS3
O'kay just got the LS3 conversion done..... My biggest question now is..........Who's team am I on.....Team L99 or LS3.......I kinda like to start my own team...... Team LS93!!!!!!!

Maybe LS99, well it's still an auto trans. Whatever it is I call it better than it was. Lol

You are still team L99. You have lower compression and the auto tranny. Team L99 is a great team and I am a proud member.

Well they call it a l99 to ls3 conversion for a reason, as u have gutted out what makes an l99 an l99. Cam phasing.

I have a factory l99 car that I did the ls3 conversion to. I went ahead and added a cam and had the heads milled to raise the compression.
You can do all of that but if u don't replace the pistons you are technically still a L99 I say now I'm a ls3 auto |

L99 if u still have stock pistons

factory motor factory trans, Gpi ss4 cam stock heads ported and milled, full exhaust, circle d 5c 4000 triple disk, 3:91 rear end with posi mod, cai, bmr derlin rear diff bushins, bmr derlin cradle bushins, bmr trailing arms, toe rods with bushings, and bmr anti extreme sway bar. Weld rt-s 17x5 fronts and 17X10 rears on mickey thompson et street r's
