What do you have done to your car? Chances are those are exhaust fumes you're smelling. When you have the fan on, it'll pull air from the outside. So it is more than likely fumes or just residual fuel. Let us know what you have done. That'll give us a better idea.

Fumes are probably what you're smelling. Especially with no cats. It's nothing to be concerned with. It is what it is. But if you were smelling fuel while traveling like the OP, that's something different.

are ALL your hoses Teflon coated? Also how is your PCV system set-up, show us pics perhaps?

If you were getting this smell at idle id say its from having no cats and raw fuel escaping during the overlap event of the cam.

My car smells like gas everytime I get into the car in the morning but my hoses are not Teflon coated and the smell goes away.

All the hoses are teflon coated. I have a monster rx can my pcv hose runs to. Theres a breather filter where my fill cap was for my oil. I would understand smelling some at idle but I smell it driving down the highway and get a headache in the damn thing after driving it 30-45 min

If the smell started after you installed the new fuel system, that's your culprit. Check each connection, fitting, and like mentioned above, look for wet spots or anything that's collecting dust and grease.

It may not be leaking though. It could be fuel vapors. Start with the regulator and work your way back to see if all connections are tight.

Definitely check all the connections. Try to isolate the smell to the front or rear of the car. The PTFE hose that you have does not have any fuel permeation, it is 100% odor-free. If you smell something it has to be coming from a fitting or the FPR. Try parking it with the hood open to see if that changes how much smell gets in the cabin.

Is the boost-reference connected on the FPR? If there is fuel going around the diaphragm in there it would smell from the hose barb on there.

Ya, the boost reference is hooked to the fpr. I Cant see any connections at the regulator or the rail that seem to be dirty from any kind of fuel leak and i cant see anything leaking while its running. I will keep looking

If it's fuel fumes you won't see a leak. Vapor can be slightly seen but in tight spaces it's more difficult. Also, don't look for leaks, just tighten every connection you can. Put a clamp on the hoses that go barb fittings.

And don't *overtighten* any of the AN fittings. All they need is to be "snug". I have seen people crank the hell out of them and it deforms the seat enough that they weep fuel under pressure.
