I think the V6 should have no problem getting 30+ mpg on the highway. Now the EPA rating probably wont say that but I bet it will.

Well, I hope it does for all those buying the V6. Shoot, if the V6 gets 40mpg's Hwy and 33 city, has 320hp, under $25k....you got urself a deal. I'd pick one up....and that's just about the only way. I respect everyone's decision to get a V6...I do and I know why the majority of ya'll want those. Good deal for ya'll. I want that darn V8. I've got the cash for the rising gas costs. I can pay a little extra on the car insurance. It's a trade off that I'm willing to take.

But, I just hope the V8 could do the same.....over 30, that is.

I don't give a flying ***beeeeeep**** about gas price ...

Buying a V8 Camaro: 45k $
Buying gas: XX $
Buying new tires: XX $

Riding my beloved burn-ass hot rod Camaro Supercharged V8 screaming powerful street anger: PRICELESS

For things having a price, there's mastercard visa
For expensive passions: who gives a damn?

about 7 out of 10 camaro's/firebirds I see on the road, females (usually 18-30yrs. of age) are driving them..I see a LOT of camaro's driving in & around town.. (mainly 3rd & 4th gen)
but it surprises me how many females are actually behind the wheel of them..
not being sexist or anything..I just find it to be an interesting fact.

An answer to a question?......300hp/-300 monthly for V6

Or maybe just agreeing to hope for the best, as I am.

I just drove to panama city florida and back (from pensacola) in my 4th gen and got 35mpg one way and 36mpg the other way. Filled up before and after both trips to calculate.

Granted, I did have a v6 and a manual, but I would have NEVER expected to have gotten anywhere near that much.

All the talk of Highway is something I never understand. Few people do the majority of their driving on the highway only. It's generally mixed.

I couldn't care less what a cars Highway rating is, I'd much rather know it's City/Mixed mpg.

What have those of you with 4th Gen V8's been getting with City/Mixed driving?

I'm only on a highway 3 times a month if I'm lucky.
