You can buy a brand new 2015 ZL1 for your buy it now price. The mods only add value to the right buyer. In most cases, devalues the car. With that said, it's the right color, and a sweet car. GLWS.

I think most buyers of these cars will end up adding some performance upgrades, I think this is why the site exists. The good news is all of the stock components are included so the buyer can take the car back to completely stock and sell performance parts, but I doubt they will......I hope to run into a new 2015 out on the street because that guy will be adding some power once I'm done letting him read my license plate for a while.

I think 49k is a little high but it seems like a very nice car in great condition.
I like the 13'+ cars as they have the MyLink updated stereos. The 12''s have that 1982 looking radios. lol

Nothing wrong with the "1982 Look." Personally, that is why I wanted a 2012. Nice car OP. I like the Matte Black Hood Insert.

Yeah, mine has been put through the paces quite a bit. I would like to drive it more! I would think mid to low 40s would be a better price point. I bought mine used with 677 for $45,333 back in March of 2014.

Transferable warranty? Not with a tune and those mods. It's a 40k car to someone willing to take on that car without a warranty. Not trying to be negative. Just realistic. I wish you the best of luck with the sale.

Well OP I guess you got all these guys telling you it is to high on the price but remember there is a butt for every seat. I have sold a lot of cars here where I live and have had people tell me I am to high on the price but I hang in there and someone will think they can not live without the car and buy it. So hang in there someone will buy it. Good luck!

OP...A few months ago I was in the same position as you - attempting to sell my 2012 ZL1 with 1600 miles on it. I posted it on this forum and other places for $47,500...eventually dropped the price to $46,500. My ZL1 was completely stock. My situation was that I had a sale deadline staring me in the face. I had a Z06 on order and had a "trade" offer from the dealer. In the end, I traded the car and got less on the trade than the price that I had posted here. But, the dealer was working from invoicing pricing. So when considering the trade amount from a wholesale to wholesale comparison, I was happy. I also had to consider sales tax ramifications without a trade in.
Hang in there with your sale efforts because after my deal was complete, several people came out of the woods (both on here and locally) wanting to purchase my car. Of course at that point, all I could say was "talk is cheap" and now you can buy it off the "lot". Good luck!!! |
