Painted / Powder Coated Stock Wheels

I want to paint or powder coat my stock wheels to a solid black. What is the best choice? What kind of surface preparation is needed so the coat will adhere properly? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, bpoole38

powdercoat holds up better then paint. If you paint them they will chip in no time....
