Install lift covers
This is not a highly technical questions but just bought some billet strut lift covers formy Hood/trunk from Phastek. As I was debating on how to install these as they are supposed to fit over the canister of the lift(s), I discover that the tube is smaller diameter than the attachement nuts at the ends of the lift unit. Seems thet the attachement that pops on the hood/engine bay balls are pressed on & cannot be removed thus making it impossile to fit over the rod onto the canister. Am I missing something that is too obvious & I can't see the forest for the trees.
Anyone installed these parts before please let me know how ignorant I am on this!

Found the website of the Manufacturer.....Duhhhh Case of the Dumbass today.....it's too easy As I said can't see the forest for the trees!
