Cars & Racing like a drug: Street Outlaws

How many of yall crashed on or off the street and still went back to the track to race again. The thought and the fear is there on your shoulders but you shake it off a few steps at a time.

Don't really watch the show to often but sucks to crash. The excitement and rush you get when you race sometimes is not worth it but they do get paid for this show.
Seen worse but more of a reason to race at the track with EMTs present. Also I don't care if you street race or not, most of us I think have.

I think it's funny how this show glorifies street racing, and then when they wreck everyone is so concerned with the driver's health.

People don't seem to understand that, by glorifying street racing, this show is openly attracting younger drivers to a world where accidents like the one in the show are much more likely and because the real world is not staged like the show is, those real world wrecks are often deadly, usually to innocent bystanders and not the drivers.

Where the TV show personalities might just have to visit a hospital and get checked out when they wreck, these young kids wreck and they could end up killing someone.

I don't understand how this show is still on the air, quite frankly.

Did you read the other articles on that site? One of their own is currently being charged with murder for just what you are saying. Two bystanders got killed at a street race he promoted.

We don't need shows like this to promote street racing, all teenage kids know the risks involved and most of us have done it in our lives a time or two well before shows like this arrived. By no means am I saying it's ok to do, i do not street race at all anymore for many reasons, but I've never understood blaming a tv show for other people's stupid actions. That's like saying movies should all be g rated because violence or sexual situations is what's wrong with kids nowadays... No.. Parents are what's wrong with kids nowadays. Rant over.

Racing will never die. Racing as a kid to an old man. From just pure running to bikes and then cars to electric wheel chairs I will always be racing.
