How to replace rear blinker light?

I started to get a message on my dash saying Check rear blinker light. What's happened is whenever I use my right turn signal, the message comes up and the blinker flashes twice as fast as it should. I walked out to check the light and the Right, rear, Inside blinker light isn't flashing and that the outer right blinker flashes twice as fast.

Can someone make a DIY guide for this? My bumper to bumper expired 1500 miles ago :(

Very easy inside your trunk on the right you will see a black plastic cover with 3 push pins I used a flat head screw driver to pry them up after you get them up pull the plastic up and reach in and twist the bulb housing and pull it out then just swap the bulbs

Sounds easy. Would you happen to remember the info for the bulb you bought?

10 minute fix. Bulbs are standard 3157 long life. most common is Sylvania 3157 LL They come in a pack of two so replace both. Any auto store will have them.

Open trunk. Right side right above the lights remove the black triangle plastic. It has 3 push pins in it. Use a trim removal tool or screwdriver to pull up gently on the inner pin. Once it's up pull entire pin out. Lift off plastic reach inside and turn bulb to unlock. Replace bulbs. Put triangle back on and simply push the pins back in place.

It is almost always the right rear lights that go first on these cars.

Just finished. The hardest part was getting those 3 plugs off that hold the plastic cover to the car.

I have removed and replace many of those push pins, but on the camaro, they seem to break easily. Broke two of mine. Rarely do that on other cars.
