The L99 guy is shooting for 12.9 stock tomorrow night! He dropped .4 tenths off his personal best last go around, 13.4-13.0 so maybe!

Yeah couldn't pull off the time I was after, I only gained 1 more mph. Kept spinning between my 1-2 shift. cold track. I'm new to the 5th gen camaro but I am loving this car. had no idea there was a thread on here about my car before i even registered. 2.09 60ft 13.076@108 is my best so far. i've had this car for about 17 days.

Just by adding better street tires instead of those crap all season's will put you in the 12's and may even stop/help your 1-2 spin problem. Now if your 60' improves odds are you may lose some mph. Good luck, welcome to the site and keep us posted....

Some guys just don't believe the L99 A6 can run fast times. Catch a nice weather day (cool air - good DA) combined with some decent 60' times and the L99 can run some fast times. |

Nitto 555rs will be here later this week. Da on that night was around 1100ish. This past weekend i would have hit 12s easily. But even letting some air out of the tires didnt stop the spin. Even my 2-3 chipped... But that will be fixed here soon. Also just put a k&n air filter on about an hour ago. Sealed cool air intake conical filter system. But the air is probably going to be bad for the rest of the season. But if there us a "great white buffalo" night i will be there for sure

So the 5.0 ran a 12.7@111 stock, but loses 2/10s and 2+ mph with bolt ons and drag radials. Doesn't sound like he has figured out how to drive the car with those modifications yet.

i'll post the vid i have of him running his car with my gopro on the car, sounds like he's either short shifting or the car is drastically under powered.

for giggles i do have to say since i know it could be even more of a driver issue... he stalled the car twice trying to do a burn out. i'm sure he will give me flack for this but he has it coming from being proud of a 12.90s at the end of the night with his a-hole ginger commentary friend trying to critique every other car going down the track. it got on my nerves. Oh forgot to mention dDustin Broostins 408 stroker dakota. best time was 12.67. he's a good friend of mine and is still working to kinks out of the tune on that truck. True there would be an extra shift with the 3.73's if untuned but wouldn't be dropping his trap speed to 107. I've run 111 when bone stock with my 3.73's. I've been 11.8 @117 with the mods in my signature and drag radials. A 5.0 on NT05R drag radials, muffler delete, cai, 3.73's manual is basically stock with the only thing making the difference being the drag radials. Properly driven mid to low 12's possible @ 112-113. Tuned high 11's... Anyway I don't know why you start these threads when your little G35 is clearly outclassed by the 5.0 and SS
