2012 T3 Stripes

Spent Sunday giving the Bee its first real cleaning and a coat of wax!! Question is does anyone wax the stripes? Especially the T3 carbon fiber stripes? I didn't want to attempt to put anything on them.

DO NOT WAX the stripes!

I have sprayed Adam's waterless wash and detail spray, but from what I've heard, you DO NOT want to wax them.

Nice car by the way!

I have those same stripes even though I'm IOM and asked this specific question a few pages back. I was told NO waxing but you can you use Adams VRT which will take waterspots out and provide a bit of protection since it has some UV protection in it. That's what I plan to get to care for my stripes.

Everybody here is correct! Do not wax. It'll fill the little raised patterns in the vinyl with wax, and will be next to impossible to remove, and would leave them a spotty gray color. No, and no.

+2 on Adam's VRT to protect, Waterless Wash to clean and DS in between VRT applications to keep them looking good.
