Car Cover daily driver

So I have 2014 Camaro LT and I had been using a car cover at work as I work at an elementary school and people just walk in between the cars with all their crap!!! There is no safe place to park as many students walk from the street onto the campus from all directions. Not to mention when the grass mower crew are on campus. the car cover has been working great. HOWEVER, I just applied Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant with Midnight Sun Wax and I am having a very difficult time putting the cover on and off as it slides right off!!!!!! Any thoughts on fighting with car cover---- anybody use one on their daily driver at work?

roll on. roll off. Thats how you appropriately put a car cover on... but honestly you're probably putting more damage into the paint by sliding a cover on and off of even lightly dusty paint than you would get if you just left it uncovered.

I have the same problem putting my cover on and off. But mine isn't a DD. In my garage it's a pain to put back on. I try to catch the mirror pockets to keep it from sliding. Also, DONT PUT IT IN THE DRYER! I learned the hard way.

Park farther away and walk, car covers make a ton of work no matter how careful you think your being.

I put a car cover on about once a month for a week or two and as stated many times here you are prolly causing more scratches to the car than pedestrians walking by would cause. I make sure to wash my car right before the cover goes on every time and still get minor scratches

Also have to be careful with dirt bad such blowing underneath the cover. They it gets trapped in there

Nope. Got a job as a personal training manager at a gym in madison, 9 hours worth of summer classes, 2-3 car details a weekend, bought another truck just as a off road toy, grandfather got cancer, and still hanging out with friends until 2-3 am 3 times a week made me have no time for c5 lol. And honestly when I first bought my truck I was doing so much to it I was trying to stay off of here so I could focus my extra money on it!
