Windshield

If you replace the windows, especially the windshield with poly carbonate, do you essentially ruin the structural integrity or rigidness of the car? I know the gt cars replace it but they take other measures in insuring that the car remains rigid.

No. The car does not rely on glass in any fashion for structural integrity. If you will notice, the front windshield is just sitting on the front of the car attached with sealer. It is not even molded into the frame.

Now rain, wind, an clarity are a completely different story.

I just noticed that, thank you. It's literally just laying on top of the seal. Cool. Need to find out more in regards to clarity though. It won't be a street car but it will most likely be raced in the rain so I will need wipers or some serious rain-x
