I wish I could run the chiller, just don't want all the weight of the A/C too.

Didn't know you could get any Camaro without A/C....or did you just take yours off?

I was told I'd gain roughly 30WHP with a DD cam and re-tune.....guessing meth would double that at least but not sure why some are recommending no meth.

Awesome car man
Thanks bro, your's is bad ass also! I was hesitant on the Meth kit only because it was all new to me, but after a couple month of research while doing the build & speaking with Julio Don, the owner of ALKY Control, and seeing the success many of the Vette guys have running his kit, it made me a believer. It'll lower IATs, and increase HP by 25-40%, and it also acts as a safety measure as well. Not sure why shops would tell you to avoid it, talk to Cunningham Motorsports or East Coast Supercharging, they both use & love the kits.

The custom cam CMS did for me lowered my boost a little bit, I was up around 14 after adding the smaller pulley & OD Cog Drive. I could not be happier with the performance & drivability of it, plus it really gives that old muscle car rumble at idle. The Super Chiller is definitely on my to-do list.

It was taken off, doesn't do a whole lot for a car that runs primarily at the track, but maybe the IATs would be worth the weight, I dunno.

I recognize the user names above, thanks for your support! It really makes a difference; I have been hammered with orders since March. Kits are going all over the world now, I’m finishing one up now for a Lumina SS (G8) going to South Africa.

Highway driving the other day 84f ambient temps and my water stayed low 50's f with IAT's matching, switched to comp to see difference and water dropped into low 30's F and IAT's followed.. This Chiller keeps the Maggie Cool!

Just out of curiosity, have either one of you made a 1/4 mile pass first without having the chiller on, then make a second pass with the chiller on, then compare time slips?

Not on the same day but I have made several passes before chiller install and my IAT's start around 80f and finish around 120f and I run meth too with 12 psi boost. My tuner told me my tune was set to pull timing @ 100f IAT so I am loosing something on the top end without Dave's Chiller.. This Chiller is GREAT and Dave's support was also great..

I added the larger roto fab reservior tank and hex vents, it's been mild weather so far, i will be interested how much these help in the hot vegas summer months

I know on the same setup(Before super chiller) I was running consistently 11.6-12.0 during the hotter months and got down to 11.20 running with the super chiller on a 90 Degree, 85% humidity day in Houston last summer. The car has the reaction of when you are driving on a cold day in winter during a 100 degree day. I think it certainly is better than not having one.

The only comparison that could be remotely considered a fair comparison would be back to back runs....same car, same driver, same strip, same fuel, etc. etc. Still not scientific but a good comparison.

Dyno pulls usually show Ball Park of 30HP lost with Super Chiller off in 95deg FL.
Some one posted not long ago times on vs. off but I don’t remember who it was, it may have been in one of my threads?

I'm just curious what the difference in time slip data is when comparing two back to back runs with the only difference between the first run and second run being the first run made without the chiller and the second run with the chiller on.
