I wonder why it's still camo'd.

Likely a video pre NY Auto Show. Once it's shown to the public they generally take off the Camo. In some cases though, I think it's a pain in A$$ to take of the tape. Note the front and rear lamps are now exposed.

Is there or will there be a possibility of GM releasing a video like they did for the ZL1 on the 'ring?

I would bet on it. GM seems to do that fairly regularly on the cars they run there.

I'm guessing we'll see the C7 coming up and maybe the new CTS as well.

My Zbrothers,
Just in case one cannot be obtained...based on what we know, what would it take to build up a 1LE to a Z/28? It goes without saying the Pedders suspension would be used instead of a stock Z/28 one (right Pete?). Thanks guys

IMO, it just wouldn't be the same. With that said, I would think at minimum, a $30,000 investment. You'd have to order the 427 crate motor, the CC brakes and the necessary suspension components not included with the 1LE. Got to include the cost of installation and tuning, tweaking etc. Then there's the aero parts, paint. Ouch, not an easy endeavor to say the least. Base 1SS is 37K + 30K +5K(for unknown incedentals)= 72K. You can always recoup some of the investment by selling unused parts, LS3,susp.,etc.
