Canadian Allocation GM S**T the bed......

In my opinion, just my rant, roast me toast me what ever, but I feel better and I'am sure my wife does to, cause she's sick of listening to me.

Why release something you know you can't fill the orders, untill you are ready ?

Why Should I have to hunt down a dealer that has allocation? and take my loyalty away from my dealer just because he has not sold that many camaro's in the past blah blah blah. But has sold me 170,000 worth of vehicles in the last 4 years including my SS .

I Think, somthing that is gonna be so hard to get, to us Canadians should have been allocated to loyal GM custmers not to dealers that have sold X amount of camaro's / big dealers who cares who sells them shouldnt they have went into loyal GM cutomers hands first ???????????

Sorry to hear :(
I don't always understand the way is conducted I have to say.

Now, if your dealer has always done right by you, maybe it's worth it to wait another month or two so that you can get it his dealership...

Good luck either way!

Get them to call their regional manager and plead the case. My dealer wasn't normally allocated for 2012, but some pleading and a letter I wrote that my dealer forwarded got results for me.
I think personally a sold order is a sold order, but GM has their reasons I suppose for doing things the way they do.
I am overjoyed my salesman and general manager went to bat for me. They are of course enthusiasts also, and I have great respect for them.

Nope don't need to be a first, but every article and review I see just makes me want it more, and more. Unless of course GM all of a sudden stops production and only run 2012..... Not too much of a money maker

I think 2012's are definately special compared to 2013, but having said that, if you can wait I'm sure they will be a little easier to get for 2013.

Try going to a dealer, plopping a down payment and see if they can weasel an allotment! Maybe a sold car might open the door! Most people ordered one before the dealers knew what a ZL1 was!

Never heard of it?

Make sure he knows you're SERIOUS...and not just a pest. Calling every day alone may not communicate that. Did he look into it for you?
