Smallest wheel that will fit on the rear
Whats the smallest diameter rim that will fit on the back of the ZL1?

^^^ Nahh more like if it can fit 15-17" rims out back to save $$$ like he can do to his 4th gen and GT500's
If 5th gen SS rims will fit out back then the 18" C6 Z06 rims should fit and are the smallest cheapest setup for hitting the strip without changing to a smaller rear brake set up.

Just trying to get the smallest diameter wheel for slicks so there is more side wall to absorb the shock of the driveline. Was hoping 17s but guess its 18s. Will have to look into whats out there. Thanks

Wider isn't always better.. Any more width than 100% required is just wasted weight and rolling resistance. You want enough side wall to allow for flex and some shock absorption and just enough tread to hook and go.

rear brakes on a ZL1 are same as SS. Fronts are where the difference is. If that's the case, you can get a Bogart 17.

If you dont mind spending some money, 17's will fit. Bogart, CCW ect. Cheap way out your stuck with 18's like Z06 replica's ect.

What makes the bogarts and CCW so specail yet other 17's cant fit? If someone has some number I may actually have a cheap alternative that is lighter than the stockers. I just need some numbers on the wheels and check it out.
