Talking 1LE diffuser, part number 22815277, now less than $100 before shipping

I was looking up information about how to get a quad tip diffuser. The only two choices I was interested in were either the ZL1 or 1LE diffusers. However, I was hoping to find a way to not really have to spend $500+ on a new ZL1 diffuser plus additional equipment.

Then I proceeded to read up on the 1LE diffuser and everyone was saying that the cost was over $300 alone. Even as recently at the end of February

However, when I went to these 4 GM parts websites, check out the prices:

GMpartsdirect: Price: $78.13
GMpartshouse: Price: $99.58
PartsTaxi: Price: $98.05
GMpartseast: Price: $90.66

Just an FYI, anyone who looks up the diffuser PN 22815277, can see they are no longer $300+ but just under $100 before shipping.

I am interested in this too.

I think that is just for the large plastic piece. No screws hardware heat shields absorbers which are needed.

I think

From my understanding, you would need the heat shields and absorber for the ZL1 diffuser.

The 1LE diffuser is just a straight up replacement.

I ordered mine from Patrick at GM Parts House www.gmpartshouse.com

Part number 22815277 NPP diffuser

Thanks for posting this Blue10CamaroSS. The 1LE rear diffuser is growing on me along with the quad exhaust. The diffuser is very reasonable, but I don't think there are dual exhaust tips made for my Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust.

Nice! How wide is the opening so I can figure out which quad tips would fit?

Here is the ZL1 diffuser. Notice the diffuser runs along the side of the rear bumer fascia. This is so the design continues onto the ZL1 side skirts. It will also require additional modifications for an SS rear bumper.

Here is the NPP/1LE diffuser. It doesn't run along the sides and is a direct replacement for the stock SS diffuser
