ACS ZL1 Hood Insert
Here are some cell phone pictures that the body shop took and sent to me. I ordered the ACS "ZL1" insert from Rob at Wretched Motorsports. The first insert I received had a small crack on the edge of the passenger side. I'm assuming this may have been caused by customs as the next box I received was also already opened. The packaging for the insert could be better. Both vendors were excellent to deal with. I like that the ACS ZL1 insert is more flush with the hood than the TL1 insert. The ACS ZL1 passenger side is not as flush as the driver side but I will try to make my own adjustments later. The ZL1 hood was a factory defect and I actually ended up getting it repainted. The body shop I went to was Extreme Custom Collision in Woodbridge, VA. The insert was painted matte black.

Thanks, guys. A few pictures in the driveway:
   I also have the ACS original ZL1 style water deflector installed and so far clearance seems to be fine. I have an Elite catch can and Injen long tube intake installed on the LFX. I also got the ZL1 water drip tray (part# 2282841) from Maureen @ Rodgers but have not installed it yet. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures under the hood but I'll work on it. |

Looks good my next mod will be the OEM ZL1 hood and insert (bidding on one now) my ZL1 side skirts and rear diffuser should arrive next week. Figured I might as well complete my look with the OEM hood.

I'm not sure about the badge either. Since my first name is Manny and from Germany, I thought the German flag would look good. M colors are totally different. May change it out.
