I changed converter and made a few test pass's Saturday.
I got to do some tuning to straighten out my shift points and some detonation so the 1/4 time & MPH is not that great but I was impressed with the 60 and 1/8th times on Stock P-Zero's. So here is another one for Bolt on's only. 60 - 1.759 330 - 5.172 1/8 - 8.047 mph - 87.46 Temp - 85 deg Hum - 47% Baro - 30.7 2ss L99 with Headers, CAI, Converter & Tune Last edited by jbsrace1; 04-11-2011 at 04:32 PM. |

But there's a fine line between leaving "on time" and red lighting. When I'm just test and tuning racing, I'm usually not so concerned about my R/T. |

If you want to improve r/t take off at least on the 3rd yellow. I go after the 2nd yellow and right before the 3rd and usually get 0.1 or better r/t's. To lower your 60ft and overall ET you need better traction and/or more hp. Get some DR's if you don't already have some. You can try brake stalling it a bit also.

Yeah I tried brake stalling for 1 pass. Brought up to 1500 the launched. I'll probably roll with my stockers for now and get a TC. Running again on the 29th I'll post up the results.

I would not recommend a TC(torque converter) if you are running stock tires as you will just spin. First get some DR's then get the TC. Heck even with DR's you can spin if the stall is high(+3000) enough. My stall is a 2400-2600 and on street tires I spin all through 1st and 2nd and sometimes part of 3rd from a standstill without brake stalling.
