How much hp increase with after market parts?

Dear Camaro champs,
I drive a 2010 Camaro SS (LS3), and I'm going to have the following parts installed: K&N race filter, GM performance headers, and GM performance exhaust.
Can anyone tell me how much increase I'll have on hp?
PS: I don't have the possibility of a dyno test.
Thanks all.

Get your wallet out for any real HP difference. After all of what you listed, try cam, blower, heads, and tune to get to the real hp these things can make. Or buy a new 392 Chally or GT500 and save a little and still get the factory waranty. Sky is the limit as long as you are willing to pay for it........

I disagree, take your Camaro and make it yours. I believe in buying the car you want, and customizing it to YOUR specifications. As much as I love cars like the ZR-1, ZL-1, GT 500 etc, there's not much you can do to those cars. If you've got an SS, and you pump money into it, its yours.

any particular reason you are going with all the GMPP exhaust? If it's for warranty I understand, but if it is for gain, there are more cost effective ways that sound better too.

Just curious.

Some dealers have aftermarket exhausts, like Borla, already installed on camaros. since the dealer installed it, i would think its under warranty. Although the mark up on dealer installed performance parts kinda sucks.

I thought on the original post he was going to get it installed is why I asked. I didn't think he had any of this already on the Camaro.

I believe Jannetty tested the k&n filter for basically no measurable gain. An exhaust usually nets very little gain (in the 5hp range), but I'm not sure about the gmpp headers. You might try searching to see if anyone has dyno'd after installing those

Maybe 15 total, 9 or 10 for K&N, maybe 5 for short tubes.

Short tube headers are pretty much a waste of money. Get some long tube Kooks or keep your money. Cold Air Inductions has the best CAI on the market. Check with Ted Jannetty if you don't believe me. Cat-backs sound great, but deliver very little to no HP gains.

Just wondering....did you yourself install a set of Shorties and only gain 5hp? Maybe you should read this thread to debunk the myth of Shorties not doing anything.

Sorry forgot to post the link lol

Good thread on mufflers http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66525. Most mufflers show little gain over stock muffler.

American Racing headers have an X crossover and one racing catalytic converter per side, gets rid of two stock catalytic converters and a silencer per side and are 3" all the way back to stock muffler. As first and only mod they were worth 30 hp and and 34 ft lb of torque on LS3 with tune. There is a picture of my dyno test in my album, bottom right in public profile. Tune alone on LS3 worth maybe 5 hp. Tune on Automatic worth a lot more. Don't know what shorty header is worth.

Check out Jannetty Racing' s Cold Air Intake tests for Intakes. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=48202&page=2
K&N flat filter in stock box is probably worth 2-3 hp if any. Second Jannetty shootout has a K&N http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107002

Both spread sheets are at https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...VE&hl=en#gid=0
K&N looks like increase 5 hp average and 9.5 hp max.
