Another Color Shift Halo Question
Does anyone know if the AAC Color Shift Halos can be installed to come on automaticly with the car and default to white, yet retain their color shift ability with the remote? I want to use them as my DRL's but don't want to have to turn them on everytime I start the car, but I still want the multi-color ability also. I know, I want my cake and to eat it too.

If you wire them up to the fuse box under the hood then they will be one whenever the car is on. The halos will stay in whatever color they were in when you turned the car off. So just remember to put them back to white and you should be fine.

So the controller will not reset to "off" whenever the power to it is cut? From looking at it, it seems as if it will. I don't have the halos yet, so I can only go off the pics and install instructions. Just trying to plan everything out at the moment. Thanks.

Well yes, you have to hook the controller up to the fuse box as well. Otherwise it will turn off.

Not trying to be dense or thick here. Just not understanding the RGB Controler I guess. Your telling me to hook the controler to a constant 12v so it "won't turn off". I might be looking at a bad set of instructions, but it only has a 12v and a ground. The other wires go to the RGB Halos. If I wire it to a constant hot, how will the halos turn off when I shut off the car? Is there a constant hot and a switched hot on this controler I'm not seeing, like on an amp?
