Hertz Speaker Thoughts
Hey guys, I'm looking into getting some Hertz Speakers, does anyone have any recommendations on them? I would be getting these through craigslist so is there a way to spot fakes easily? Also, the model is Hertz ESK-165. If I can get these for 150 should I jump on it? What do you guys think? Thanks again guys!

I actually bought my Alpine's through CL, but the seller ended up being a distributor, so it was all "legit". Hopefully you get the same thing.

Well this is a guy who's selling them. Supposedly, he bought them from custom sounds which I believe is a vendor but I'd still like to know what to look for just in case. That and if they would be a good speaker that won't hurt your ears. Because I know some speakers are too harsh at times, especially the tweeters

I had the Hertz high energy 6.5's and they rock out big time with very good mid bass. I have seen fake ones on ebay so be careful. I purchased from a local dealer and paid a little more but they are worth it if you like great loud mids. Not sure how to spot if they are real I say ask for a receipt or where did they come from and verify it

Thanks a lot for that! I'll keep an eye out for that stuff.
So now, does anyone have opinions on the quality of the esk's? If I can get them for 150 would that be good? |

Well after inspecting his pics and cross-referencing them to the pics in the link amanc gave, they do appear to be real. Now, for 150, possibly less, should I take them? |

DragginFrameGMC (intentionally) bought some of the fake HSKs and said that they were pretty good.
