Bleed brakes while transmission is out?

I recently did a reservoir split for my clutch and brakes on my 2011 2SS. I have the transmission currently apart and while I’m waiting for new parts, can I go ahead and bleed the brakes since the reservoirs are split or will I have fluid still coming out of the clutch line that connects, but is currently disconnected, to the slave cylinder?

Thanks

If you’ve split reservoirs then they are 2 separate systems now. Bleeding brakes will have no affect on the clutch system.

Good luck

Thanks for the reassurance. Now time to bleed the brakes!
