Here's a link to an article about the Indy 500 Pace Car announcement coming next week...states it will be either a Camaro or Corvette.

When I was there with the festival cars I did see a black Corvette Coupe back in the garage area. It did not have any decals or markings on it, but I do recall seeing a track plate on it. May not mean anything..

It would definitely be a 2012... 13's don't start production until after the race. I received my 10 pace car exactly one month before the 2011 race.

Looks to me like the Bow tie was placed over the blue and could be removed if so desired.
