Anybody interested in a HPDE (High Performance Driving Experience) at Road America this Saturday? My buddy is selling his spot for Saturday for $200. That will save you 30%

FYI, HPDE/PDX events are not timed and have strict passing rules to make it safe for all cars to go fast, have fun, and not have any issues with contact between cars. You let faster cars pass you in passing zones, and slower cars let you pass in passing zones. Very safe and VERY FUN!!! It's not a race but a opportunity to get on a track and drive like a you are racing.

Here is a link to the event info, top of page 6, user fox90 is him.
http://www.midwestdomestics.org/show...pen!!!!!/page6

You can also message me and I'll put you in contact with him if your interested.

I don't know about you but between all my mods which includes a VMax PTB and a tune, my throttle response is already pretty good. I feel like the Vitesse module would make it a pain to drive.

So, finally took some time away from work and hit the test and tune autocross at Osky today. I'm hooked!! What a blast! Can't wait for tomorrow! I really can't wait til I get my driving skills better. I'm pretty rough around the edgesDid a 180 on the 2nd to last run and killed a couple cones!! The guys where a great help in slowing me down to get faster. So glad I finally got to put the BMR suspension to the test.

Just a reminder the cruise to Bethany, MO is on May 16th. Those in central Iowa meet at McDonalds/Kum and Go at George M Mills Civic Parkway and I-35. We will leave no later than 10 am. Let's hope for some good weather, here and in Kansas City so we have good attendance from both directions. We will meet the Kansas City club at Camaros which is East of the interstate roughly a quarter mile.

I have usually taken my black and white Camaro but this year I might take another car. Cruising the entire way above 3000 rpm is not great on the engine and definitely not on my pocket book.

Why does it cruise on such high RPM?

I'm going to assume the 3 speed transmission. My 1976, even with the 3.08 gear, would cruise hwy speeds at 3000-3500rpm.

My camaro cruises at high rpm due to 342 gears, low profile tires and a three speed automatic. The car scoots at low speeds. Drinks gas at high speeds, 12 mpg on the highway. On the other hand I can pass cars easily. I never have to downshift to pass.
