You could tell TTAC was trying desperately to hate the car.
In any case, from the initial reviews, Cadillac just out-BMW'd BMW.

I like it a lot. I'd take it over a 3-series or a C-Class. Time to stuff a V8 in it.

I want to like it, if it has MUCH better quality than my Brothers ATS, may considering picking one up in a couple years, but they have a LONG way to go in quality and that can ruin an otherwise fantastic piece of machinery.....

I don't think we read the same reviews. The Cadillac approaches the 328 but is still a far cry from a 335. In my opinion, the prices are a bit too similar to sacrifice so much in cargo space and acceleration to get the ATS.

awesome car, but holy crap on a fully loaded AWD price tag! Its only $5,000 off of a base model CTSv sedan.
I really really like the design, enough to maybe drop my BMW 3 series in on it??? |

That's because CTS is kind of stuck in an in-between position right now. Once it grows and moves to Alpha, the price will increase to make room for ATS.
