"This car was ordered special and purchased brand new 5-8-1985 and was put directly into storage straight from the transport truck."

How many times does a car come off the transport truck with the fluids already drained?

In 82-84 Cross Fire was in Vettes and F bodies. 85 was the first year for Tund Ports for both.

Yes it looks nice however the front facia of it is not right. Front spoiler on this 85 looks from a regular base camaro. Front facia should look the same on all Irocs from 1985 to 1990. Something does not look right, my 2 cents

If you would have read, you would have seen that the lower spoiler was part of the dealer prep and that it was in the car still wrapped in plastic as well as all the hardware for it.

My first Camaro was also a 1982 Z28 with Crossfire Injection. Being that they never worked properly I removed it and converted to carb. When Chevy came out with tuned port in 1985 it was one of the best things they ever did. To note - the Iroc offered here for sale is not tuned port and is a carb car.

The fuel was drained, and flushed out of the car when we first got it. By the way, none of the seals are damaged and the car does not leak any fluids. It did need the underhood struts, and hatch struts because the gas did leak out of those, but thats it. It was stored inside. We did not have it in storage, but bought it from the guy who did....We just bought it, and cleaned it up is all..... Again, none of the seals on this car are damaged, it does not smoke when its running, and the car does not leak any water when it has been washed several times by me.

Just thought I would let ya know the facts...

Yes, it does not look right because the lower front chin spoiler has not been installed yet. It states that in my description. That was a part of the dealer prep because the chin spoiler would get damaged when loading, and unloading from the transporter.

Very true, but you can buy 2010 Camaro's all day long. Soon, they will be every where, just like the Mustangs. There is only one of these cars that is this old, and still new. Granted, this car is not for everyone, but there is a lot of people out there that would love to have it. Its only been on eBay 24 hours now, and the highest bid is already $19,100. I had it on eBay on wednesday, but the auction got canceled by eBay because I placed a link in the description, and apparently eBay does not like that. I relisted it again yesterday... Check it out if ya want to:

LOL at some of these comments. Yeah putting a car in storage for 20 years will cause the entire motor to meltdown because it has motor oil in it . OMG gasoline in the fuel tank? Yikes, it will rot the whole car! Please save the internet hearsay. I've seen cars sitting in a barn for 15+ years with a foot of dust on them, come out and fire right up with a battery charge. The tires are usually flat spotted, but storing a car on jackstands cures that.

Kudos to the guy for SHOWING this car! It is a pleasure to see such a fine automobile. The asking price is fair for the nature of the car. I wish it had TPI but still, 305 4bbl IROC's are pretty rare on there own.

I agree very much so!! However, the original owner never intended for this car to sit this long. He had plans to turn this car into a street rod. Day after day went by with him thinking he would do it this week, or possibly next week, and so forth. Next thing ya know years start going by and Im sure he got busy with every day life. I think the original ower owned a trucking company. I googled his name on the paperwork and found a trucking company in his name. Maybe he just got too involved with his work, who knows...

I went ahead and matched the original MSRP with the inflation rates for the past 25 years and what I found was astonishing....The MSRP comes out to roughly 32k in todays money....

So...You store a car and never use it for 25 years an you come out ahead 2k??? What in the world?!?! LOL....

Yes the price on the car is VERY FAIR to all of you naysayers...
