For Sale: HRE R40 Charcoal Wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires
I am putting the wheels with tires from my 2010 Camaro up for sale. I am asking $4,000. They are HRE P40S wheels in charcoal with satin clear finish. http://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/p40s-series/p40s The wheel sizes are the same as standard on the Camaro ZL1. The fitment is perfect on the 5th gen Camaro. Early Camaros might have some rubbing against the parking brake cable, but there was a running change to fix that, so a new cable fixes it (or zip ties). The wheels are in excellent condition, never been curbed. The tires have a lot of life left, no burn outs. They are located in Long Beach.
Photos of the wheels are below. To see the wheels on my car check here: http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticl...ke-System.aspx The specifics are: Front: 20 x 10.0 +23 with TPMS Rear: 20 x 11.0 +43 with TPMS Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires Front: 285/35/20 Rear: 315/35/20 Price: $4,000 *Updated post to reflect the correct wheel model, P40S not R40. Thanks for looking out, but I can't help but provide the feed.
One person's opinion on tires is just that, one person's opinion. There are many different performance tires that suit all different needs. In particular, I lean towards performance tires that can perform on the street, not just a track day. That means they don't have to super hot to work and they aren't noisy. I like tire with a bit of a natural spring rate as well to smooth out the ride from my performance suspension and bushings. Also, I will just leave this here: http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...-sport-page-10 When you look for tires in certain sizes, the choices can be pretty limited as well. |
