3M Door Edge Guard

Anybody with clear bras... can you notice them at all? I'm sick and tired of my door swinging into the siding of my house and scraping off the paint on the door edge. Today it happened when I was absolutely sure the door was still, yet lo and behold as I get into the car, it swings further along its axis and hits the freakin' siding. The paint on these cars is so weak and the touch-up is eventually going to cake up to a point where I'll notice it.

I'm looking into getting the 3M Door Edge guard. It's the same material as the clear bra, but I'm worried about how noticeable it is. Conventional door edge guards are not something I want since they are so unsightly that it's nauseating. So anyone with clear bras, how well do you notice them? Is wax buildup along the edges a potential problem?

Anybody with the actual 3M Door Edge guards are welcome to chime in too, it's just I've never seen any posts about them so I'm assuming nobody has tried them out, but I've seen plenty of topics about the clear bra.

I have the clear bra on my summit white RS and love it. YES no matter what is said you can see the seams in certain light conditions. I would be very interested in the 3M Door Edge guards. Hope someone has some.
