I Highly recommend Hanson's Muffler because they did my 55 Chevy many years ago and it still sound great with no problems with the workmanship.

No sweat, just throwing it out there. I would caution against welding as a properly flared and clamped pipe will work just as well and simplify removal for future upgrades. My two cents and definitely nite the only option. Good luck.

Well, I'm not sure what the difference is between welded and clamped. I was told by another member that his were welded on and also listened to his video it sounds bad ass.
What are the differences?

It won't affect the sound one way or the other. Clamps are removable should you want to change your mufflers again. Otherwise you'd have to cut them off and have them welded again.

Looks kinda sketchy, what are the chances of me driving home with 1 exhaust ?

If I decide to clamp them on, it would be a shame to pay more than $20's for that job.

For the record, clamps are how most supermarket exhaust go in. Nothing sketchy about it. My whole system is like that on my Camaro and my truck. Trust us, you will be mad at yourself.for welding in down the road when you want to do an upgrade or repair and have to cut that welded setup out.
