If this is something you're contemplating, you have a LONG WAY to go before you'd benefit from it. You haven't even done headers or a tune yet. Most of these intakes are for high hp, big cubed motors.

Taking notes, planning on a wild NA setup I ran the Vic Jr on my turbo build just wanna see what people are running these intakes but don't need big cubes to benefit from it. Yes I am 100% stock right now witj 187miles on tje clock :/ lol I'm used to wild setups on trucks but thinking of a forged 5.3L for my goal

Plus, it takes a lot more than just a taller hood. There are some significant modifications required to the rear cowl area.

Pretty sure you have to kiss your windshield wipers goodbye for that intake!

I'd really look at the fast before the Holley for a street setup on smaller cubes. Now if u are gonna shift at 7500+, the Holley may be ok but you will lose power in the low and mid rpm ranges.

Hmmm ok, I was planning to shift it too 7800 of course in a forged motor. might have to end up with that FAST for now

The holley is a killer manifold if everything underneath it is setup for it. 7800 shifts, nasty cam, big converter, a lot of gear, lots of compression and it will love it.
